On Sunday 12 October Notts County legends will play Nottingham Forest legends at the Basford Town FC ground in Greenwich Avenue, Basford to raise money for Cancer Research UK.
Kick-off is at 2pm but gates will open at 11am and it will be a family fun day, with bouncy castles, a burger bar and face painting amongst other activities to keep everyone entertained.
Michael Johnson has been signed up as Player/Manager for the Notts Legends team, which will include the likes of Tommy Johnson, Mark Draper Laurie Dudfield, Andy Legg and Steve Cherry.
They’ll be up against a Forest side featuring the likes of Mark Crossley, Steve Chettle, Jason Lee and Nigel Jemson, with a limited number of spaces available for fans to play alongside their heroes for a donation of £150.
If anyone is interested in fulfilling their dream of playing with their idols - we are looking for a donation of £150 and people can pay to play (45 minute game, and get a signed match ball). Also children can be a mascot for the day for a donation of £50.
