Legendary Notts County footballers are taking to the pitch to support a father who lost his baby daughter to cot death.
Big sporting names including Tommy Johnson, Shaun Derry, Mark Stallard, Lee Hughes and Dean Thomas will all lace up their football boots next month to take on an amateur team captained by Christopher Hampson.
Christopher organised the charity match in aid of the Lullaby Trust, which raises awareness of sudden infant death syndrome.
He and his partner Stephanie Williams began supporting the cause after their daughter Chloe tragically died in 2012 at just 10 weeks old.
Since losing their daughter, the couple has worked tirelessly to raise awareness of sudden infant death syndrome and generate as much money towards research as possible.
So far they have helped raise more than £8,000.
Christopher said: "It was obviously heartbreaking when Chloe died, but equally not knowing why is such a cruel thing.
“She wasn't ill, and the doctors couldn't find a reason why.
“Perhaps if we knew why this happened it would help, but not knowing is so hard.
"I hope that the fundraising I do and the awareness I generate can help to reduce the numbers and eventually bring about an end to cot deaths.
“I really hope the work I do can stop others suffering the heartbreak we suffered."
As part of his fundraising efforts, Christopher, supported by his family and friends, will go head-to-head with the footballers at Arnold Town Football Club on Sunday 4 May.
The charity game will kick off at 1pm, with all proceeds going towards the Lullaby Trust.

Christopher added: "We are excited - they will probably thrash us, but it's all for fun and will to help raise vital funds for the charity."
The match will also support Christopher's next fundraising Three Peaks Challenge at the end of May, when he, along with four others, will climb the highest peaks in Scotland, England and Wales in 24 hours to raise £3,000 for the charity.
He said: "I'm sure it's going to hurt, but if I can raise a good amount of money and awareness about cot deaths it will all be worth it."
