Notts County FC's Sports Science and Medicine Team invited to present at The Rugby Innovation Summit at Twickenham

The Sports Science and Medicine team at Notts County FC have been selected to present at the Rugby Innovation Summit 2016 at Twickenham.

The Rugby Innovation Summit 2016 in Partnership with Rugby World Magazine has been designed to optimise performance and reduce injury and is applicable across elite, community, school, academy and junior levels of the game and other sports.

The two day event is a fantastic opportunity for the Sports Science and Medicine team to showcase the fantastic work they do here at Notts County FC, and their presentation, 'The Evidence and Clinical Implementation of Musculoskeletal Screening for Knee Injuries in Professional Football' is part of presentations from speakers across the most elite levels in world sport.

Head of Sports Medicine at Notts County, John Wilson, said, "We are very proud to be showcasing the work we do here at Notts County on an international level".

"To be at the Rugby Innovation Summit with other world leading professionals in Sports Medicine is a true honour and a testament to the groundbreaking work we do here at Notts County."

Notts County FC are the only professional English Football Club invited to speak at the summit, alongside international Rugby and NBA speakers.
