Wales u-21 international Elliott Hewitt was previously with Championship side Ipswich Town having spent last season on loan with Colchester United in League One.
Signing a two year deal, the pacey versatile player began training with first team manager Ricardo Moniz and his squad this morning at the club’s Eagle Valley facility and told Magpie PlayerHD of his delight to come to Meadow Lane.
“Guy Branston called me couple of weeks ago and that’s when I first heard. I played about 20 games in League Two with Macclesfield so I know a little about it.“
