New loan signing Ryan Hall is looking to get plenty of game time…
The Magpies swooped for Rotherham United winger Hall after learning the fate of a long-term injury to Zeli Ismail.
Hall, a former Sheffield United player, is set to be named in the squad to travel to Brammall Lane on Friday.
He told Magpie Player: "The move went through quickly. I got a phone call from the Rotherham boss on Wednesday night after I played a game.
"It was a quick decision. I know Shaun from my time at Crystal Palace, so I know what kind of man he is.
"Hopefully I can get some goals, get on the scoresheet and some wins, whilst I'm here. I'd like to think I've got good feet, so I'm hoping to impress.
"I've come here to see if I can get in the team. I'm injury free, so game time is really important for me.
"If everything goes well I would love to stay for longer. I just want to play my football."
