Lifeline Donation Allows Academy To Secure New Training Equipment

14 July 2015

The club’s Academy have benefitted hugely this pre-season thanks to Lifeline…

The club’s membership scheme Lifeline, which allows fans to pay a small sum each week for cash prizes, has donated over £1,000 to the club’s Academy to allow them to buy new training equipment for the new season.

Each age group will now have brand new footballs, cones and training equipment to ensure the players have the best chance of developing in their sessions throughout the week.

Youth Co-ordinator Pete Jarvis told the Official Site: “The Academy is very grateful for Lifeline’s donation and continued support of the Academy.  New equipment, especially footballs, is vital every season to give the players the best opportunity to train and play to the best of their ability.

“The sight of fresh footballs is always a great feeling at the start of the season which really helps to spark everyone’s enthusiasm again for the coming year.”

Meanwhile Lifeline Co-Ordinator Lynn Lawson added: “Our youngsters are the future of Notts County and that is what Lifeline is all about, if we can aid their training sessions in any way, we are happy to do so.

“Our members have helped to raise these additional funds  and are happy to support our Academy, if you would like to see more contributions going towards our youth development, please sign up to Lifeline now – every little helps.”
