Leicester Frontman Arrives On Loan

13 February 2013

Notts County Football Club is pleased to announce the loan signing of Jacob Blyth from Leicester City.

The frontman, 20, will spend an initial month at Meadow Lane and is the second player to arrive on loan - behind Manchester United striker John Cofie - since Chris Kiwomya took over as caretaker boss.

Blyth is yet to make a senior appearance for the Foxes but was recruited in May 2012, having made a name for himself with Leamington in the Southern League Premier Division.

A regular goal-scorer in City’s development squad, Blyth was allowed to join npower League 2 outfit Burton Albion on loan earlier this season, where he made two substitute appearances.

Blyth will be available for this weekend’s npower League 1 clash with Walsall at the Banks’s Stadium (3pm kick-off).
