Labadie Agrees Contract Extension

1 July 2013

Midfielder Joss Labadie has agreed a deal to extend his contract with Notts County Football Club by 12 months.

Labadie, 22, arrived at Meadow Lane last summer from Tranmere Rovers and made 29 appearances in the black and white stripes, scoring two goals.

The energetic midfielder rose to prominence at the back end of 2012.13 with an impressive run in the side that included a spectacular long-range finish against Doncaster Rovers.

This followed a successful loan spell with Torquay United, which saw him net four times in seven matches.

Labadie is delighted to have come to an agreement with the club and is now looking forward to establishing himself as a first team regular in the new season.

He told Magpie Player: “I’m chuffed to bits because it’s been going on all summer and I can kick on now and concentrate on the season ahead.

“I want to build on last year, play more games and I want to score more goals and do as well as I can for Notts County Football Club.

“I’m 22 now and I want to be playing every game and I really want to make a name for myself this season.”
