Help Us To Keep The Run Going

18 December 2013

First team manager Shaun Derry hopes that Notts County’s recent revival will bring supporters back to Meadow Lane over time.

Back-to-back wins have lifted spirits in the camp and another three points against Bristol City has the potential to lift Notts out of the bottom four.

Tickets for the Robins fixture have been reduced to just £12 for adults and £2 for children in the home sections.

Derry hopes that the Magpies faithful will use the discount as an opportunity to witness the improvements for themselves and help to inspire another positive result from the stands.

He said: “It’s going to take time and you can’t change it overnight but bit by bit, inch by inch, we’re getting there and hopefully more will come and watch us play.

“Come and see us how we’re playing now and hopefully you’ll get value for money.”

He added: “This Christmas period is going to determine a lot between now and the end of the season.

“I’ve said we need to be in the mix, to be closer to the group than we was before last Saturday.

“It’s a big game for us and a big game for us, because we’ve got back-to-back victories.

“I don’t want us to be happy with that I want us to kick on again – I’m looking forward to the game already.”
