Harrad Delighted To Be Back At Hometown Club

22 August 2014

Striker Shaun Harrad is delighted to be back at the club where he started.

He now hopes to repay Manager Shaun Derry with hard-working displays that he has based his career on.

The 29-year-old striker has signed a short-term deal and has gone straight into the squad for the weekend's match against Port Vale.

He told Magpie Player: "I'm absolutely delighted and excited for the opportunity. It didn't take much convincing to comeback.

"It's my home town club and I've been very impressed with the past two weeks or so that I've been training here.

"I'm taking this opportunity with both hands.

"I've had a decent run of games and goals since I last played for Notts and I'm quietly confident that run can continue.

"My work rate is 110%, that's my game. I like to work the channels and not give defenders time on the ball.

"I'm a team player and I can't wait to get going."
