Halsall: Hoping To Bounceback With A Result

7 November 2014

The Youth Team are looking to start another unbeaten run against Bradford City...

Head of Academy Coaching Mick Halsall's men saw their three game unbeaten run end at Scunthorpe at the end of October, but hope to bounceback immediately as they take on Bradford City on Saturday.

With no first team match on Saturday, it's hoped supporters will back the boys at Arnold Town's Eagle Valley Stadium with a 11am kick-off and free entry.

Halsall told the Official Site: "As we all know, it's not going to be easy.

"There’s never an easy game in this league and anyone can beat anyone.

"Although some will point out that the 7-1 win at York a couple weeks ago may have seemed it with the scoreline. But even then, we found it difficult and we went a goal behind.

"We must apply ourselves properly and stick to the task and then we’ve always got a chance.

"If you don’t turn up and your not switched on, we will be punished."

The team will be desperate to get back on the pitch with no game last weekend and it's the last chance for player's to stake their claim ahead of the much anticipated FA Youth Cup match away to Peterborough United on Wednesday.
