Guy Branston leaves Notts County

20 May 2016

Notts County have announced the departure of Head of Recruitment, Guy Branston.

Branston joined the club in February 2015 as Chief Scout and later became Head of Recruitment, following a playing career where he represented the likes of Rotherham United, Sheffield Wednesday and Peterborough United.

His departure paves the way for a new manager to implement his own scouting structure once appointed.

Chief Executive Jason Turner said: “On behalf of the board, I would like to thank Guy for his dedication and hard work over the past 15 months, and he leaves with our very best wishes for the future.”

Looking back at his time at Notts County, Branston commented: “I’ve had a fantastic time at the club and enjoyed every minute. I’d like to thank everybody that I’ve worked alongside and wish Notts County every success for the 2016/17 season and beyond.”
