Notts County have signed former striker Shaun Harrad on a short-term deal that will run until January 2015.
Harrad, who started his professional career at Notts, has been training with Shaun Derry’s squad for the past week and has been in discussions over a deal to sign for the club in recent days.
That deal has now been agreed and the Nottingham-born striker has put pen-to-paper on a deal that will see him join Notts until at least the New Year.
Harrad goes straight into the squad for the Sky Bet League 1 game away to Port Vale on Saturday.
