Final Few Tables Remain for FITC Charity Ball

20 April 2016

Just a few tables remain for Notts County FC Football in the Community’s [FITC] annual Charity Ball, which takes place on Saturday 7th May after the final match of the season versus Carlisle United.

Following a hugely successful 25th Anniversary Ball in 2015, which was a celebrated the life-changing work FITC delivers on a daily basis to people of all ages, abilities, disabilities, cultures and backgrounds, this year’s event will be even better with a bigger capacity at East Midlands Conference Centre, as well as more high quality, Nottingham-based entertainers.

The Ball is a way for FITC to increase its profile as well as raise much-needed funding for its work across Nottingham and the county.  The charity want to help people understand the impact it has on huge numbers of local people – over 10,000 individuals annually – many of whom are vulnerable and from disadvantaged backgrounds.

As a charity fundraiser, the Ball will help to fund a host of FITC’s innovative work.  Most of these projects are delivered free of charge to ensure people from all backgrounds can take part.  As well as traditional sports coaching, FITC is highly regarded nationally, delivering projects for diverse groups of people, including people with mental health problems, cancer, working age dementia, refugees, excluded teenagers and disabilities, among many others.

Tables have been selling fast with just a final few remaining. If you’d like to join FITC on the night and help to raise money for their charity work, you can purchase tickets (£50 per person), tables for 10 or become a sponsor by calling 0115 955 7215.
