Donate Selection Boxes For The QMC Today

1 December 2015

Notts County will be visiting the Queens Medical Centre this month to run its annual Selection Box Appeal.

The successful appeal has been running for many years now having been started up by lifelong fan Rob Bristol.

Members of the playing squad will be attending to spend time with children on the wards at the hospital who are unfortunately unwell at Christmas time.

With just over a fortnight until the visit, the club is encouraging all supporters to donate generously to this worthy cause.

Matt Lawson, Community Officer and Club Nutritionist, who helps run the project from the Clubs side with Rob Bristol, said: “Rob is an inspiration and is a great supporter, a real character down here at Notts County.

“He leads this visit and has done for years, the fans are always fantastic with this at Notts, which makes us all very proud.”

Rob Bristol added: “I cannot wait for another great year of the appeal, we appreciate every donation from every supporter and this year will be another special one”.

Supporters and sponsors are invited to donate selection boxes to the Hospital, in time for the visit on Thursday, December 17th, which can be dropped off at the Club Shop at Meadow Lane.
