Notts County completed a busy few days in the transfer market by signing French striker Yoann Arquin, the third new arrival at Meadow Lane this week.
Arquin, who spent the 2011.12 season at Hereford United, has signed a one-year deal with the option for a second season.
The 24-year-old flew in from France on Monday morning to complete his medical and sign his contract, ahead of pre-season training, which began for the entire squad on Tuesday.
Arquin told Magpie Player: “I’m really happy to be here, it’s a nice place and hopefully everybody has a good season.
“The manager told me that the club are very ambitious and looking to go up straight away and after that I had a good feeling about the club.”
