Notts Youth Team beat Lincoln City 3-0 at the club's training base on Saturday…
A well taken goal from inside the area from Lartey Sarpong, a well-worked left-foot strike from striker Elliot Brown and a penalty from forward Colby Bishop gave the side their biggest win of the season.
It meant back-to-back victories, despite a fortnight without a game.
Head of Academy Coaching Mick Halsall was delighted with the display and the clean sheet.
He told the Official Site: "First half I thought we were decent and you could see what we had worked on down the training ground.
"As a team we were effective. Second half, not as much and we lost our way a bit. That's something we need to look at, but it was great to get the win and a clean sheet.
"It was pleasing to not concede, but we did get caught on a couple of occasions and we do need to tighten it up.
"We have been working hard down at Arnold and it's great to see the hard work come off.
"We will be looking at the analysis and it will confirm that the goals have come through what we've been working on.
"This will show the lads that it worthwhile doing these exercises.
"It's a good win, a pleasing one and makes it back-to-back victories.
"It was good to see the fans down there and I'm sure they will be pleased with the level of commitment on show."
