A Look Ahead To Scarborough

27 July 2012

The Magpies travel to Bridlington on Saturday...

Notts County will take on Scarborough Athletic on Saturday, a day before jetting off to Spain for a training camp.

Draws with Buxton and Alfreton Town have opened the pre-season campaign, with plenty of positives to be drawn from the fixtures.

The Magpies are looking to put on another passing display at Queensgate and first team manager Keith Curle is ready to give a number of players extra game time, as preparations step up.

ALFRETON TOWN MATCH BUILD-UP
Keith Curle: “[The passing football] is something that we’ve been working on and by no means is it the finished article, even going into the season we won’t be the finished article. If you think there’s been eight, nine, 10 signings coming into the football club, there’s some trialists as well, and we’re trying to get everybody to buy into the team’s philosophy that is being implemented every day in training.”
