Rob Holland joins SLO team

9 November 2016

Notts County supporters have voted for Rob Holland to join the club’s SLO team.

Rob accrued more votes than fellow candidate Tony Guy and will join existing SLOs Dougie Pullen and Tim Bradd to form a three-man team.

Dougie said: "I am delighted that Rob has been successful in the ballot; I know that he is a loyal, staunch supporter of Notts County and that he will really strengthen the SLO team.

"A few days ago, David Jackson of BBC Radio Nottingham's Matchtalk said to me that the influence of an SLO team on a football club can be as little, or as much, as it wants it to be.

"With Rob on board now I am confident that we will make a really good go of it; if only to bring club and fans closer together again.

"In Tony Guy we had a really credible runner-up in the ballot. Tony is a true and passionate Notts fan and I expect that the SLO team will also be calling on him to help us out, where he can, in our work. We can not allow his love for Notts County to go untapped."

Notts chief executive Jason Turner added: “I would like to thank Tony and Rob for applying for the role.

“My commiserations to Tony, who had a very strong application and has wished Rob and the rest of the team well in their endeavours.”
