Minute's silence

2 December 2016

Notts County will hold a minute's silence ahead of Sunday's Emirates FA Cup match against Peterborough United to remember those who died in the recent air crash in Colombia.

In the early hours of Tuesday morning, a plane carrying 77 passengers crashed on its approach to the city of Medellin. Only six people survived.

The aircraft was carrying players and officials from Brazilian side Associação Chapecoense de Futebol, who were due to play in the final of the Copa Sudamericana against Colombian side Atletico Nacional on Wednesday night.

A period of three days' mourning has been declared in Brazil and Notts and Peterborough will wear black armbands in memory of the 71 people who tragically lost their lives.
