Notts exit embargo

28 January 2017

Notts County’s transfer embargo has been lifted with immediate effect.

Following EFL confirmation that they have received evidence that all outstanding liabilities to HMRC have been settled, the club are now free to operate in the transfer window.

Notts chairman and owner Alan Hardy said: “Today’s news comes as just reward for an immense amount of hard work. It’s been a huge challenge but we have finally got the result we wanted.

“The embargo has been a subject of much frustration for our fans and I would like to thank everyone for their patience and support.

“Jason Turner and I will now be working extremely hard with Kevin to make additions to the squad before the window closes next Tuesday.”
