The Mag: Plymouth (H)

16 August 2016

The latest edition of the Mag is available to purchase at this evening's Sky Bet League Two match against Plymouth.

Tonight's Mag (£3) features a big interview with Haydn Hollis, who speaks about his impending century of games for the Magpies, his respect for Mike Edwards and a surprising soft-spot for another League Two club.

Here's a sneak preview of what the towering centre back told The Mag:

'I don't think I ever thought 'I'm going to play 100 times for Notts County', I just wanted to be a professional footballer! In the last three seasons I've finally been making in-roads on that milestone and making regular appearances, and for that I'm grateful to the people who have had faith in me over those years.'

Fans can also read the thoughts of John Sheridan ahead of tonight's game. A former manager of Plymouth Argyle, he welcomes old faces and demands more from his players following Saturday's draw with Stevenage.

He writes in his column: 'There will be no repeat of last season. I will sort it out - and I'm confident that my players have the necessary attributes to be a very good side at this level'.

Colin Slater has his usual column, this week paying tribute to Magpies FA Cup hero Jimmy Logan.

Supporters can also see behind the scenes photos of the players arriving at Meadow Lane before the Stevenage match, read an alternative match report written from a fan's perspective and catch up with all things Notts County.

Supporters can purchase the Mag from the club shop or from sellers around the ground.
