Kevin Nolan has been nominated for February's Sky Bet League Two Manager of the Month award.
The Notts boss oversaw an impressive turnaround from the Magpies, taking 11 points from five games in the month.
While February started off with a disappointing 2-0 defeat at Accrington Stanley, Nolan's men recovered to beat Cheltenham Town 2-1 at Meadow Lane thanks to goals from Jon Stead and Richard Duffy.
Three days later, it seemed as though the Scouser's unbeaten home record was going to be taken by Exeter City, who were 2-0 up heading into stoppage time, but Duffy and Jorge Grant rescued an unlikely point for County.
The momentum carried over into the trip to relegation rivals Leyton Orient as Nolan came away from his first visit to his former club with a 3-2 victory. Grant opened the scoring and a brace from Stead was enough to seal all three points despite Paul McCallum and Teddy Mezague finding the net for the hosts.
A goalless draw with Yeovil at Meadow Lane took the former Newcastle man to five games without a defeat at home before the Magpies picked up their best result of the month, winning 1-0 at high-flying Plymouth Argyle thanks to Grant's third goal in four games.
After learning of his nomination, Nolan said: "It's always nice to receive recognition for your hard work but I have to stress this is a nomination for the entire backroom team, not only me.
"Everyone has put in a huge effort behind the scenes to help the team turn their form around and, while we all have a huge amount of work left to do, this is another positive sign that we are moving in the right direction."
The 34-year-old will be up against Stevenage chief Darren Sarll, Jim Bentley of Morecambe and Luton Town manager Nathan Jones for the award. The winner will be revealed on Friday morning.
The judging panel comprises former Ipswich Town manager George Burley, Sky Sports’ EFL League expert Don Goodman, EFL Marketing Director Drew Barrand, League Managers’ Association Director Olaf Dixon and Sky Bet Football Trading Manager Paul Lowery.
