Notts County manager Kevin Nolan is aware of the tough task facing the Magpies in the coming weeks.
The Scouser takes his side to face Accrington Stanley tomorrow afternoon to start a run of games against sides close to Notts in the Sky Bet League Two table.
County are 22nd following midweek results and face Accrington (21st), Cheltenham (20th) and Leyton Orient (23rd) in three of their next four games over the next fortnight.
"There are no easy games in this league and games against the sides around you are usually tougher," he said.
"I don't like to call them six-pointers because they're not, but when you get the three points it brings those above you back into it - and that's what we want to do."
Nolan acknowledges the current plight of clubs near the bottom of League Two, along with the prospect of relegation to non-league football, gives an added importance to the fixtures.
He continued: "Most of the teams we are playing in the next few weeks have got everything to play for, so it is going to be tough.
"We're in the same situation so I am asking the lads to stay focused and stay professional and carry on as they did last weekend against Crawley.
"If we continue to play like that and improve then, as I have said since the day I walked in, there is no doubt we will be a League Two side next season."
Nolan confirmed that, other than Carl Dickinson, his squad are fit and healthy ahead of this weekend's trip to Lancashire.
New signings Josh Clackstone, Marc Bola, Jorge Grant, Mark Yeates and Tahvon Campbell could all feature, although Nolan, who registered to play earlier this week, is unlikely to hand himself a place in the squad.
