Meet Hunter on Easter Monday

14 April 2017

Portsmouth and their fans won’t be the only visitors to Meadow Lane on Easter Monday!

Hunter the Sinraptor, one of the most terrifying dinosaurs of the Jurassic age, will be roaring Kevin Nolan’s side on to victory from the home end.

Escorted by rangers, Hunter is a lifelike animatronic dinosaur commissioned by Nottingham City Council ahead of this summer’s ‘Dinosaurs of China’ exhibition, taking place at Wollaton Hall and Nottingham Lakeside Arts from July – October.

Tickets for the match are free for under 12s and young fans can say hello to Hunter and grab a quick selfie from 2.15pm – 2.45pm outside the Broken Wheelbarrow. Hunter will then make a half-time appearance on the pitch, where he will present one lucky fan with a family ticket to the exhibition! The Dinosaurs of China exhibition – a World exclusive – will see 26 3D dinosaur skeletons and small flattened bird-like skeletons preserved in the rock arrive at Wollaton Hall on 1 July.

Visitors can see dinosaurs measuring a massive 22 metres long, like Mamenchisaurus, who will be the tallest mounted dinosaur skeleton in the UK. For more information on the exhibition, please click here.
