Magpies Reduce Match Ticket Prices

8 July 2016

Notts County are dropping match ticket prices for the forthcoming Sky Bet League Two campaign for supporters that purchase tickets prior to the day of the game, making it more affordable to watch the Magpies at Meadow Lane.

An adult ticket for standard League Two fixtures will cost just £20 in the Kop Stand/Family Stand or £22 in the Derek Pavis Stand – nearly 10% lower than 2015-16 – if bought before game day.

There is a similar season-on-season saving to be made on concessionary tickets with admission for over 60s and 18-21 year olds down to £14 from £15, and under 18s down to £5 from £6.

In-line with the Club’s vision to encourage more family groups to attend fixtures at Meadow Lane, a new price category for accompanied children, under the age of 16 years, has been introduced in the Haydn Green Family Stand.  If bought in advance, an adult and junior under 16 can attend a match together for £23 - a significant reduction of £5 on last season’s £28.  Any additional juniors under 16 will also be charged just £3 in this stand.

Prices across the board then rise by £2 on matchday. To cope with the anticipated pre-match demand, the Meadow Lane Ticket Office, based in the Club Shop during weekdays, will remain open for an extra two hours on the eve of every home game of the campaign, until 7pm.

The £2 difference between advance and matchday admission pricing comes into effect from the first League match of the season, against Stevenage on Saturday 13th August.

Don’t forget that the Magpies are also offering a great discount to supporters who attend both the Walsall (Tuesday, July 26) and Blackburn Rovers (Sunday, July 31) pre-season friendly matches.

Both the Walsall and Blackburn fixtures are individually priced at £12 for adults, £7 for over 60s and 18-21 year olds, and £4 for under 18s, with accompanied under 18 tickets are just £1.  However, supporters wanting to come to both matches will have to pay only £20 for adults or £10 for over 60s and 18-21 year olds, and £5 for under 18s, as long as they purchase tickets by 7pm on Monday, July 25.

Some supporters will need to take a different view of the eagerly anticipated pre-season matches, with the Club not opening the Kop Stand and Haydn Green Family Stand for either game.

We also host our neighbours from across the river, Nottingham Forest, for Mike Edwards’ testimonial match on Saturday, July 23 at 3pm.  Mike has priced tickets for this match at £5 for under 18s and £10 for everyone else.
