Kevin Nolan is hoping for more of the same from his side when they face Crewe Alexandra on Good Friday.
Notts travel to Cheshire on a four-game winning streak which has propelled the Magpies to the verge of safety and the manager wants to get the job finished over the Easter period.
"We won't leave any stone unturned in our preparation," he said. "We know Crewe are a good team going forward and they will be a big test for our lads.
"With a quick turnaround between Friday and Monday it puts questions in your mind - 'Shall we do this or shall we do that?' - but sometimes it is better to say 'Go again, lads' and see if they have the mental capacity to withstand it.
"For me, it's about us and whether we turn up and do what we have been doing of late. We have more than enough quality in our squad to nullify Crewe's strengths and take advantage of their weaknesses.
"If we do that I am sure we will be able to keep this amazing run going."
With only five games remaining in the 2016-17 campaign and a large proportion of the squad out of contract in the summer, the boss has a lot of thinking to do over the coming weeks and insists no decisions on the futures of players have been made yet.
"It's too soon," he said. "We have a lot of playing time, training time and off-field time before the end of the season.
"There is a lot to discuss between myself and my staff over the coming weeks and there are some tough decisions to be made.
"Everyone knows I trimmed the squad down to a group of 22, who I am delighted to have with me going into the end of the season, and most of them will play a big part.
"It's not just about a matchday, it's about how you react to the matchday whether you are in the squad or not. Everyone will be monitored on everything down to how they conduct themselves around the club.
"That will help to form our decisions on whether we want to keep them here for another season or whether it is time to thank them for their services, wish them the best for the rest of their career and allow them to move on. That is the motivation for all of the lads."
Notts have sold out their initial allocation of tickets for the trip but more will be available on the day. Click here for the full details.
