On Saturday 14 January, Notts County FC Football in the Community will hold a sponsored walk to fundraise for their community projects.
This year, FITC will walk from Field Mill to Meadow Lane, a total distance of 15.5 miles, arriving in time for Notts' match against the Stags.FITC are asking everyone who joins them on the walk to kindly raise a minimum of £100 for their community sports projects. This can be donated in cash or online using their justgiving website. Please remember to claim giftaid if you qualify.
The team of walkers plan to meet at 5.50am outside Meadow Lane before boarding a bus to the One Call Stadium. They will then depart on foot at 6.30am, taking regular breaks before arriving at Meadow Lane around 12.15pm - in good time for a pre-match lap around the pitch before the game begins.
Registration for this event costs £10 and for this you will receive an FITC supporter t-shirt.
The minimum age for participants is 13. Anyone under the age of 16 years of age must be accompanied by an adult.
