Extra suite open for Pompey

14 April 2017

Due to high demand, Notts County are opening an extra hospitality suite for the Easter Monday clash with Portsmouth (3pm).

Following last week's news that executive boxes had sold out, the 1862 Suite is now fully booked and new guests will be accommodated in Wheeler's.

Guests will be joined by matchday VIP Craig Short. The two-time play-off promotion winner was an imposing figure at the heart of Notts' defence before moving to Derby County for £2.5million, a then-record transfer fee for a club outside the top flight.

Short, who also had a spell as manager at Meadow Lane, will be interviewed by Colin Slater in the 1862 Suite before the match.

A delicious two-course carvery and a host of other benefits are also on offer to guests, including:

- Programme and team sheet

- Exclusive bar

- Half-time tea and coffee

- Man of the Match interview after full-time

- Padded seat*

*Applies to Portsmouth bookings taken before 11 April.

Former player Paul Hooks will be the club's guest for the final home match of the season, against Blackpool on Saturday 29 April.

Season ticket/match ticket holders can upgrade to hospitality for only £25. Prompt booking is advised for both matches. To book, please email simon.fotheringham@nottscountyfc.co.uk.

Kevin Nolan’s side will head into the Portsmouth fixture looking to extend a home run that has seen them go eight games without loss, while Pompey make the 400-mile round trip looking to secure promotion to Sky Bet League One.

Chairman and owner Alan Hardy has capped adult ticket prices at £20 and will continue to offer free under 12s tickets for the remainder of the 2016-17 campaign.
