Notts County fell to a 4-0 defeat against Blackpool at Bloomfield Road in Sky Bet League Two.
Kyle Vassell opened the scoring when he prodded past Adam Collin and Colin Daniel doubled the lead early in the second half.
Jamille Matt fired in a third minutes later before substitute Vadaine Oliver saw red for a lunge on Tom Aldred.
Vassell wrapped up the win with his second of the afternoon late on.
John Sheridan made three changes to the side which lost at Sunderland in the Checkatrade Trophy in midweek as Collin, Michael O'Connor and Jonathan Forte replaced Scott Loach, Genaro Snijders and Graham Burke.
Brad Potts found himself in on goal early on but Haydn Hollis and Richard Duffy got back to put pressure on the midfielder, who screwed his shot wide of the target.
Despite building some pressure on the Blackpool goal, Notts fell behind when Matt's shot deflected kindly into the path of Vassell, who side-footed into the far corner to give the Seasiders the advantage.
Forte saw a header go narrowly wide before Collin had to be alert to race off his line and deny Vassell a second goal.
It was almost 2-0 on 38 minutes when Matt raced on to a pass and rounded Collin but the striker somehow put his shot wide of an open goal.
O'Connor's 25-yard free-kick was palmed away by Blackpool goalkeeper Sam Slocombe in the dying embers of the first half as Notts looked to get back into the game.
However, two quick-fire goals at the start of the second half put paid to any hopes of a comeback.
Firstly, Collin parried Vassell's low shot to Daniel, who couldn't miss from six yards out.
Then Matt got in on the act, smashing in from close range after a shot fortuitously fell to him inside the area.
With 10 minutes remaining Notts were reduced to 10 men as Oliver's challenge on Aldred was met with a red card.
And the home side got a fourth goal when Vassell robbed Louis Laing of possession and found the bottom corner to cap a miserable day for the Magpies.
